Booking & General
What is a Good Faith Exam (GFE), and do I need one?
Yes. A GFE is required before all treatments. It's a telehealth appointment with a Nurse Practitioner, who reviews your health history, medications, allergies and goals to confirm a treatment is safe and appropriate for you. Your GFE must be completed prior to treatment. It's a one-time $40 fee, added to your first treatment. We can't begin Botox, lip filler or wellness injections without it, and that includes house calls.
Can I do my GFE in person?
No. GFEs are telehealth appointments only, so you can complete yours from your phone or computer before your treatment.
How do I book an appointment?
Every "Book Now" button on this site opens our GlossGenius booking page, where you can pick your service, date and time and pay any deposit. You can also call or text (832) 820-9335.
Is a consultation included?
Yes. Every treatment starts with your required Good Faith Exam and a complimentary consultation, so we can agree on a plan and pricing before anything begins.
Do you offer house calls?
We do! Private visits, glow parties and bridal events are available within 60 miles of Santa Fe. The travel fee is $150 under 30 miles and $200 from 30 to 60 miles. Botox on a house call is $15 per unit. Learn more about house calls.
What is your cancellation policy?
We kindly ask for at least 24 hours' notice to reschedule or cancel. Deposit and cancellation details appear when you book on GlossGenius.
Who is not a candidate?
Injectables aren't recommended if you're pregnant or breastfeeding, have an active skin infection where you'd be treated, or have certain medical conditions. We'll review your health history at your consultation.
Botox
Does Botox hurt?
Most clients describe a quick pinch. We use ultra-fine needles, and the whole treatment takes only a few minutes.
Will I look frozen?
Not with our approach. We dose carefully so your face keeps natural movement and expression, and the two-week check-in lets us fine-tune if needed.
How long does Botox last?
Usually 3 to 4 months. Many clients find results last a bit longer with regular treatments.
How many units will I need?
It depends on the area, your muscle strength and your goals. Typical ranges are 12–20 units for the forehead, 16–20 for the 11s and 8–24 for crow's feet. Our full upper face is 52 units. Botox is $13 per unit in the studio and $15 per unit on a house call. We'll confirm at your consultation.
Lip Filler
How long does lip filler last?
Typically 6 to 12 months, depending on the product, your metabolism and your lifestyle.
Will there be swelling or bruising?
Some swelling is normal for 2 to 3 days and can be more noticeable in the morning. Bruising is possible, so we recommend booking at least 2 weeks before a big event.
Do you sell half syringes?
We offer full syringes only, for $399. We place half of the syringe at your first session, then the remaining half at your complimentary two-week touch-up once swelling has settled. That way your lips build naturally and look balanced.
Can filler be reversed?
Yes. Juvéderm is a hyaluronic acid filler, so it can be dissolved with hyaluronidase if needed.
Wellness Injections
How often should I get wellness shots?
It depends on the shot. B12 and Glutathione are often weekly, and others are every few weeks. We'll suggest a routine that fits your goals.
Where are the shots given?
Most are quick intramuscular shots in the upper arm or hip.
Can I add a shot to another appointment?
Absolutely. Wellness shots pair well with Botox or filler, and they're easy to add to a house call.
